PSX Bazaar is an independent analytics platform for the Pakistan Stock Exchange. We publish this methodology so investors understand exactly how our signals, sector analytics, and market data are produced — and where the limits of those models lie.
Live price data is sourced from official PSX feeds during trading hours (09:30–15:30 PKT, Monday to Friday). Corporate-action data (board meetings, book closures, dividends) is ingested from psx.com.pk and cross-checked against listed-company announcements. News articles are aggregated from a fixed list of editorial sources; each article carries its publisher attribution.
Signals fall into three categories — Intraday, Swing, and Investment — each tuned to a different holding period and risk profile.
The Signal Zones product identifies support and resistance bands by clustering historical reaction points (significant volume + price rejection) across multiple timeframes. Confluence zones — where two or more independent timeframes agree — are highlighted because they historically produce higher-probability reactions.
Sector aggregates (weighted return, top gainers/losers, sector weight) are computed from constituent free-float market capitalisations, recalculated at each end-of-session close. Indices follow the official PSX index methodology; we do not rebalance independently.
PSX Bazaar is not a registered investment advisor, broker, or dealer. Signals, calculators, and analytics are educational tools — they are not personalised financial advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss; past performance does not guarantee future results. Always validate critical decisions against official PSX sources and consult a SECP-licensed advisor before committing capital.
